This control system is used to check the cylinder position over its whole stroke. The cylinder position is indicated by an electric switch. This solution requires by far less space than a traditional system with guided out piston rods.

Other systems such as:

• guided out piston rods
• electric limit switches
• ultrasonic detection of the piston position

are also available.
