Piston accumulators are recommended for applications with very high flow rates of high pressure fluids and/or with high operating temperatures.
Additionally, piston accumulators are especially well suited when connected to gas cylinders with high volumes of oil DV and small pressure differences Dp.
Customised sizes can easily be manufactured thanks to the standardised cylinder envelope.
