OLAER bladder accumulators are ideal for any application.
Their use is recommended everywhere where accumulators are used as energy reserves, such as in hydrostatic bearings, lubricating oil supplies, chucking systems on machine tools, safety and emergency braking systems.

Bladder technology:

The three basic positions of the bladder:
- The bladder is in "precharge pressure position¨ filled with Nitrogen. The fluid port assembly is shut preventing any outflow from the bladder.
- Position at minimum operating pressure. A small quantity of fluid must remain between the bladder and the fluid port assembly to prevent any dashing of the bladder against the bottom at each emptying of the accumulator. P0 must therefore be lower than P1.
- Position at maximum operating pressure. The volume difference DV between the positions at minimum and maximum operating pressures corresponds to the accumulated fluid quantity.
- The bladder is filled with Nitrogen through the gas valve. It adopts the shape of the accumulator shell. By filling the bladder with fluid, the gas contained in it becomes compressed. The space containing the gas decreases and its pressure increases. In the reverse case, the bladder will empty itself as soon as the pressure on the fluid side becomes lower than the gas pressure.
- The bladder normally deforms itself to a cloverleaf shape. This deformation takes place practically without inertia or friction and therefore with nearly 100% efficiency.
