Where do I use off-line filters?

• When the highest cleanliness class is required
• With hydraulic filters with have pulsating or irregular flow rates
• In case of filter retrofits
• On presses with high capacity oil tanks.

What are the advantages of off-line filters?

• Constant flow rates and therefore higher cleanliness classes
• Efficient circulation of the tank content
• Combination with LOC rage coolers possible
• Water absorption by using special elements
• Filtering even when the machine is stopped
• Great filter surfaces guaranty a high impurity absorption capacity
• Filter replacement is even possible when the system is in operation
• By using a special filter element this filter can be used as an absorption filter (Hydro Dry).

Where do I have to pay attention when mounting off-line filters?

• Min. flow rate between 10 and 20" of the tank capacity
• Filter fineness: 3 µm abs.
• Max. Δp 0.5 bar with clean element
• Optical or electrical filter monitoring (clogging indicator).
